The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) District 1, Department of Washington invites you to support veterans across Snohomish County by sponsoring the inaugural District 1 Warbirds & Whiskey Gala.

This brand-new event takes place Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum in Everett, Washington. Warbirds & Whiskey is a formal WWII victory-themed gala, and includes an exclusive VIP pre-gala cocktail hour, dinner, drinks, live Big Band-style music, plus a live and silent auction. All proceeds benefit VFW District 1, Department of Washington, which informs, guides, coordinates, and supports the efforts of the nine individual VFW posts working throughout Snohomish County.

With 2024 marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day (Operation Overlord), District 1 is thrilled to leverage that incredible milestone to cultivate enthusiastic, steadfast support for the combat veterans of Snohomish County. Spend an evening in community celebrating and supporting the past, present, and future heroes who serve and have served this country selflessly.

“Throughout history and in modern times, United States veterans have deployed all over the world to defend our freedom honorably and without compromise,” District 1 Commander Terry Stinson said. “Warbirds & Whiskey is the community’s chance to embody that same level of commitment to the veterans here at home in Snohomish County.”
