Invite a few friends over to enjoy this collection of red wines. These wines will take you on a journey around the world - from Australia to France. This basket includes the following wines to enjoy:2014 - Ferrari Carano Cabernet SauvignonOur Cabernet Sauvignon comes from mountain-grown fruit in Alexander Valley. Vibrant aromatics of cassis, mocha, dried cherries, mint, cola and smoky leather awaken the senses, while full-bodied flavors of black cherries and plums generously fill the palate. Supple tannins and lingering notes of toasty caramel round out the finish.2015 - Hawkstone CabernetRobust flavors of ripe berries blend harmoniously with smoky oak and subtle hints of eucalyptus and earthiness. An elegant cassis note complements the long, noble finish.1995 - Chateau Des AnnereauxRed Bourdeaux Blend1998 - Saint Emilion Grand CruThis well-aged French Merlot offers notes of coffee, cherry, berry, plum, earth and toasty oak.1999 - Markham MerlotBold, dense and complex, this Merlot has everything. Starting with aromas of raspberry, plum and cedar, the flavors of ripe loganberries, cherries and sweet oak marry in the finish. Here is a superb wine that can be enjoyed now and for many years to come.1998 - Rosemount Estate CabernetThe 1998 Show Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep, brick red colour. The aroma displays rich, spicy, red berry characters, with hints of mint, and bramble-leaf. There is a highly attractive cedary, almost smoky note of oak maturation underneath. The palate shows fresh, bright, cassis-like fruit, with a classic Cabernet Sauvignon tannin backbone softened by the savoury edge of oak. The finish is beginning to soften and complex notes of black olives and peat smoke are beginning to show in the wine, suggesting high potential for bottle maturation.
