One of over 200,000 photos from the archives at the Whatcom, this shot captures the majesty of Mounth Shuksan overlooking the Nooksack River. It was taken by Bert Huntoon, who lived and worked as an engineer and photographer in Bellingham for decades in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As stated in his obituary, his photos helped "spread the scenic wonders of Bellingham and Whatcom County."
