History of the BASH:
The BASH became an annual event beginning in 1990 sponsored by the Ballard High School Foundation under the guidance of Dick Lee, Class of 1961.  The PTSA became involved in the BASH in 1999 and began sole sponsorship in 2002.  The funds raised, along with all other PTSA fundraising activities, have enabled the Ballard High School PTSA to grant thousands of dollars to support academics and enrichment at BHS.
