When does the Auction open to accepting bids?
Friday, at 6:00pm MST.
Do I have to register to place a bid?
Yes, to bid you must be registered, which can be done by clicking on the My Bids/Account tab on the horizontal menu at the top of the website. Or through Text 2 Bid, our mobile Service which will be available shortly.
Will all items be available to bid on throughout the entire auction?
No, some of the items will be Live Auction only. Users will be able to view them online, but all bids will take place solely at the live event.
How will I know if I am the winning bidder?
When the auction closes on April 25, at 9:00pm MST, you will receive a winning bid email.
How will I pay for my winning bid items?
When you register as a bidder, you will be required to enter a valid credit card number. The credit card transaction for all items purchased will take place Tuesday, April, 26, the day after the auction closes. All items will be paid in full at that time.
A top bid on any item is a legal contract to purchase the item.
How can a group go in-together to bid on one item?
Auction items will be awarded to one purchaser only. The top bid amount for auction items will not be split among bidders who have agreed to a portion of the top bid amount. A purchaser who wishes to split the payment for an auction item must collect the individual payments from the other bidder(s).
What does My Wish List mean?
Upon reviewing the list of auction items, you can put those items in which you are interested in on your wish list so you can track the bid action. You can remove and add items to your Wish List throughout the auction.
What is Auto Bid?
This feature, when applied, will automatically up your bid on an item each time someone exceeds your bid. You can set a maximum amount for your Auto Bid. When your Auto Bid maximum amount is exceeded, you will receive an email asking if you want to increase your maximum bid.
Is there a minimum bid on items?
Yes, all items have a minimum bid.
Is there a minimum bid increase?
Yes, each item will have a minimum amount a bid can be increased.
How will I get the item if I am a winning bidder?
The successful bidder is responsible for picking up all items, including gift certificates. Items can be picked up in the PE Center
If I do not live in Helena and cannot pick up my items, what do I do?
You can make arrangements by emailing bsmith5@carroll.edu. Your gift certificates will be mailed to you if requested. For physical items, delivery will be jointly coordinated. Any delivery costs will be the responsibility of the bid winner.
Can I wait to pay for the items listed on the Merchandise page, which includes the Raise the Paddle, until the end of the Auction after I see how many winning bids I have?
No, you will need to pay for these items before leaving the merchandise page. If you leave the page without processing payment, any items you checked will not still be checked when you return that page.
