About the Bow Rotary Club

Our mission statement is simple:  "We Help Others"

We are a group of community-minded individuals working together to improve the lives of those around us.  We focus on the needs of our local community by supporting residents of Bow and Dunbarton, while also leading humanitarian efforts around the world.

Locally, we grant around $20,000-$25,000 of scholarships to deserving Bow and Dunbarton students every year.  We have made leadership gifts to complete projects such as the Wildcat Habitat at the Bow Memorial School and the first floor renovations at the Baker Free Library.  We complete a few beautification projects each year, including cleaning up a section of Route 3A.  We sell Christmas Trees in early December, and host a Car Show each May.  We stand at the ready to support families and organizations as needed.

Globally, we have built schools and provided health care services to citizens in Honduras.  We have provided educational materials to students in India.  We are currently working on a Global Grant project to assist children in war-torn parts of Africa.  We leverage Rotary International, an organization of 1.2 million people across 35,000+ clubs to contribute to humanitarian projects around the world.

We look to help others, and we have fun while doing it.  We welcome you to join us as our guest at any our Friday meetings at the Old Town Hall for you to learn more about Rotary.  Join us!
