Fund the future of a young man by raising your virtual paddle to endow this new scholarship, honoring the dedication and commitment of the Jesuits who have served Canisius for 150 years.

In 1870 Canisius opened its doors due to the faith and tenacity of a handful of Jesuit priests, who traveled to the city of Buffalo to establish a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition. Over the ensuing 150 years, countless numbers of Jesuit priests have labored to share their talents and passion for education with the young men they served.

We would like to celebrate the sesquicentennial anniversary of Canisius High School by honoring those Jesuits who have dedicated their lives to teaching the young men of Buffalo. Their commitment to the pursuit of excellence in all things has guided the school throughout its history.

We look ahead to the future and to continuing the legacy of excellence for our students by initiating the Jesuit Founders Scholarship. The financial assistance this scholarship will provide will ensure that students with financial need will have the opportunity for a Jesuit education.
