Unless otherwise specified, all items, gift certificates and services must be used by March 23, 2025. Other restrictions are indicated in the catalog descriptions and on the gift certificate.
All sales are final. Your bid, constitutes a legal contract. Except where noted, there will be no exchanges or refunds. The Auction Official shall have sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and
re-sell articles in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, SHS’ sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.
No item will be sold for less than its minimum bid. Any bid which does not exceed the previous bid by at least the minimum increment will be considered invalid. All items are sold “as is.” SHS makes no warranties, assumption of liability, or representations of any kind (including, but not limited to, failure of delivery, correctness of description, genuineness, condition of property, failure of performance, and/or claims for personal injury or property damage) with respect to any products, trips, activities or services described in this catalog and sold at the auction. Successful bidders for auction items are advised that products, trips, activities and services are not sponsored or supervised by SHS.
SHS reserves the right to withdraw any items at any time before the actual sale. Payment in full on March 23, 2024 is mandatory. Failure to do so may forfeit items to the next highest bidder. Payment must be made with cash, Visa, MasterCard, or check payable to SHS.
If SHS is prevented by fire, theft, or any other reason whatsoever from delivering any item to the successful bidder, SHS’ liability shall be limited to the sum actually paid by the highest bidder. It shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder for services to contact the donor to arrange time and place of delivery.
Reservations for the use of homes, condominiums and private catering must be mutually arranged between the donor and successful bidder unless otherwise specified. The winning bidder for the use of private home, condominium or club may not sell or give this privilege to a third party and must clarify restrictions regarding pets, children and smoking.
Successful bidders should retain the Final Guest Statement for their records. Values listed on the Final Guest Statement are as estimated by the donor, where available, and are not warranted by SHS. Please consult your tax advisor for specific IRS regulations.
