In the last five years, Rotary Club of Port Townsend donated $195,400 to community nonprofits, youth programs, and international projects. Highlights of our giving include:

Bayside Housing -- rehabilitate a hotel room for transitional housing
Brinnon Parks and Recreation
Camp Beausite -- Camp scholarships for 4 disabled, special needs adults/children
Centennial Project -- Replaced signs at Port Hudson Park
COAST -- Washer & dryer for shelter
Dove House -- Specific for rape defense program
ECCHO -- Support of local medical assistance program
Emergency Project Reserve -- Support for small needs

 Haines Street Cottages – Interior/Exterior updates on the cottages                             

 

Homeless Shelter -- Funded opening one month early
Horse Partners -- Therapeutic riding for special needs adults and children
OlyCap -- For exterior work on Haines Street cottages
JC MASH -- Support for free clinic
Jefferson Mental Health -- Increase crisis services to the mentally ill in the county
Jumping Mouse -- Support for child counseling
 KPTZ Radio – Equipment for emergency preparedness                           


Literacy Council of Jefferson County -- Purchase of books

Main Street – Chairs and tables for downtown
PT Community Chorus -- Concert cost for a free public concert
PT Summer Band -- New t-shirts
RainShadow Choral -- Defray sheet music costs
Recyclery -- Funding for the Killer Goldfish Mountain bike team                           
Salish Spirit Equine Assist Therapy -- new helmets and special safety stirrups
St. Vincent DePaul – Basic needs
Youth Mental Health Clinic -- Support for counseling

Youth Exchange -- Two exchange students
Youth Scholarships -- Seven student scholarships

Las Veras Mexico Project -- To build sun canopy at kindergarten
Mufindi Tanzanian Project -- Support for facilities at orphanage
Rwanda Project -- Support for agricultural courses/Eco-Toilets
South Africa Project -- Support for literacy program
Shelter Box -- Funded one emergency assistance package
