Silent and Live Dinner Auction

The event is an opportunity for parents to enjoy a fun evening out with other St. Rita School parents, alumni and supporters and to participate in a silent auction and cocktail hour followed by dinner and a live auction at the Hilton Mark Center.

How do I RSVP for this year’s Silent and Live Auction? Return your response card or RSVP online at . Reservations are $50 per person before March 15th and $60 per person thereafter.

How can a I purchase a table or booth for the evening? Make sure you sit with your friends to enjoy the live auction this year by purchasing a reserved table for your group of four or eight at or by emailing Sara Causey at

What are some of the traditional St. Rita Auction Items?

  • Cakes! Yes, with real sugar and flour and everything. Bring your own fork.

  • Sign-on-parties – St. Rita families offer experiences (poker night, book discussion with Father Scalia, moms & mimosas, etc.) to bring together friends under a particular theme.

  • Mystery Boxes – You don’t know what you’ll get, but be ready to outbid the rest! This is a fun way to get an array of different items.

  • Wall of Wine – Bring a bottle of your finest wine to contribute for the evening. A lucky guest (and one with the highest bid) will win the entire lot of wine!

  • Raffle – It’s a 50/50 so be ready to buy tickets on site!

How do I pay?

Online Auction Purchases: Pay with your credit card on the website.

Silent and Live Auction Purchases: Current St. Rita parents will be billed through their FACTS account the week of March 27th. Other guests are encouraged to pay by check or credit card the evening of the event.

Is there a dress code for auction night? While there is no need for tuxedos or ball gowns, this year’s Auction theme is “Black and White Ball” and we encourage guests to wear festive attire for a special evening out.

Where can I park at the Mark Center? Garage parking fees will be covered by St. Rita PTO and your ticket will be validated at check-in the night of the auction.

What if I can’t attend the auction but still want to contribute? There are many way to help with this year’s event.

  • If you would like to make a financial contribution, please visit the auction website or include your donation in the invitation response card.

  • We can’t have an auction without donations. History has proven that the highest earning auction packages come from St. Rita families. Donations can be sent to the school office.

  • VOLUNTEER, VOLUNTEER, VOLUNTEER! St. Rita parent volunteers are responsible for planning and executing the auction each year. It is never too late to join us! The majority of the tasks don’t require VIRTUS training.

    • Volunteers are needed Saturday morning to transport and set up auction items.

    • Volunteers are needed the evening of the auction to assist with check-in and check-out. Training is provided. Check-out volunteers will be granted full family stewardship hours for the year. If you would like to help, please contact Erica Heyse at .
